BHC has partnered with the Town of Skykomish for many years, providing planning services that support both current and long-range planning needs. Our team assisted Skykomish in developing its first Shoreline Master Program (SMP) and has since supported aperiodic review update in 2018 to ensure consistency with state regulations and the Town’s Comprehensive Plan and Critical Areas Ordinance. Our ongoing work with the Town has included drafting shoreline policies and regulations that balance protection of shoreline ecosystems with opportunities for appropriate development.
