BHC worked with the City of Shelton to update their development and zoning regulations. The update included the Planned Unit Development, Neighborhood Residential, General Commercial, Design Standards, and Procedures Chapters of the City’s code. The effort involved working with City staff and the community Advisory Committee to identify gaps in the current codes and draft updates to modernize, improve clarity, and improve the existing code language to reflect the community’s goals. This quick turn-around process involved a series of facilitated review meetings with the Advisory Committee and drafting code amendments and updates for staff discussion and review.
