BHC is part of a consultant team working to prepare the City of Napavine’s first Climate Element as part of their 2025Comprehensive Plan Update, which BHC is also working on with the same consultant team. BHC has completed a gaps analysis on existing policies to highlight priority areas for the city to address in the Climate Element and wrote a Climate Impact Assessment with relevant maps and graphics to identify paramount climate concerns for the city. BHC is currently preparing the draft Climate Resilience Element with goals and policies reflective of relevant climate concerns and impacts, gaps in the city’s climate resilience policies, and incorporating input from city staff, residents, and other relevant stakeholders.
