About

As part of BHC’s work on the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of Lynden, we developed a subarea plan for the City’s Gateway District, a key area of the City poised for future growth and economic development. In collaboration with City staff, we identified priority policy areas for the subarea and created a supporting map highlighting areas of interest, commercial centers, potential transportation improvement areas, and other notable features. The subarea plan was incorporated into the updated Land Use Element, which BHC was also led as part of the broader comprehensive plan update.
