Bio: Rachel is a recent graduate of the MUP program at UW where she specialized in environmental planning and received a graduate certificate in climate science. Her master’s thesis explored how planners can best communicate climate change with communities. As a planner, she is passionate about how cities can equitably transition to climate resilient places for all. Previously, Rachel has worked in environmental planning and management for the City of San Francisco and the National Parks Services in California. Rachel was born and raised in San Francisco and is a big fan of the SF Giants. She enjoys making jewelry for her small business, bullet journaling, and cooking.
