Upgrades to Kitsap County’s Manchester Pump Stations Nos. 45, 46, and 47 were necessary to move the wet wells upland, out of the Puget Sound, and to replace equipment that had reached the end of its useful life. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) was chosen to rehabilitate the beach line gravity sewers to minimize environmental and public impacts. Extensive permitting effort including a JARPA, USACE Section 404 Nationwide Permit, WDFW HPA, County Shoreline, and building permits. BHC assisted the County in receiving Ecology SRF funding.
