City of Gold Bar

About

For Gold Bar’s periodic SMP review, BHC carried out a Public Participation Plan culminating in an open house to bring residents into the planning process. We facilitated joint review between the City and Department of Ecology to update the SMP in compliance with all applicable regulations.

BHC worked with the Town and the Department of Ecology to overhaul the Shoreline Master Program in a concurrent Comprehensive Update and Periodic Review. About

Our relationship with Orting began in 1992 when BHC completed Orting’s first GMA-compliant comprehensive plan. In more recent years, we’ve prepared amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, development regulations, and Parks, Trails, and Open Space Plan that address the needs of a growing city.

City and Borough of Sitka

BHC collaborated with Sitka’s planning staff to provide planning and permitting services on in interim basis. Our work included staffing the permit center, reviewing development proposals for code  and Comprehensive Plan compliance, and facilitating meetings for the Planning Commission and Historic Preservation Commission.

 BHC supports Issaquah’s Development Services Department with on-call services to review current planning projects.
